Micro Center has an infinite amount of products and therefore endless possibility. I realized Micro Center could benefit from a new identity, and I wanted the challenge of creating a new brand campaign that pivots Micro Center into the leading retail chain in the tech-industry. The design solution was to communicate the human connection. Lifestyle imagery was used for relatability and comfort. The colors also add to this with warm neutrals, yellows and oranges. Gradients were also treated with “zen” like characteristics, alluding to the trance-like-state one experiences when shopping at Micro Center. All in all, the branding is simple and approachable, no need for frills just practical and confident design.
