People will Stutter is an awareness campaign intended to breakdown the misconceptions of stuttering to future employers while advocating for individuals who may have lost their self-worth. This campaign was made for employers by people who stutter. The campaign can be used as a tool that allows for both employers and people who stutter find helpful information and resources. It also has printable assets that’s intended for people who stutter that are undergoing the job search that helps make it a little less stressful on them.

Breaking down the design assets starting with the wordmark, I chose the phrase people who stutter and flipped it to people will stutter. By taking ownership of the stutter this allows more confidence and comfortability while simultaneously softening the severity to other humans. The asterisk icon represents the individual stutterer. Similar to a person who stutters, an asterisk echoes a greater depth of knowledge, people just need to take the time to listen and understand. You can also see an abstracted mouth when two asterisks come together. The branding is direct and concise. It accounts for what is absent in a person with a stutter. The typography and color are refined and beautiful symbolizing the individual. Finally the illustration style adds a nice contrast from the type emphasizing the humility of the person who stutters.
